Hewitt-Trussville will play its spring football game Thursday against Bob Jones at Bob Jones High School.
Kickoff will be at 6 p.m
.
Hewitt-Trussville posted a 4-6 record last season and missed the Class 6A state playoffs for the first time since the 2006 season.

Hewitt-Trussville’s Hal Riddle will begin his 12th season as the Huskies’ head football coach this season. Of his 145 career wins, 74 have come at Hewitt-Trussville.

The upcoming season will be Hewitt-Trussville’s second in Class 6A, Region 6 with Vestavia Hills, Mountain Brook, Shades Valley, Woodlawn, Huffman, Carver and Gardendale.
Hewitt-Trussville will host Pinson Valley on Aug. 23 in its jamboree game and opens the season Aug. 30 at rival Clay-Chalkville.
