A band coming to the first annual Revolution Music Festival in Pinson in October has been nominated for a 2013 Grammy Award.
The Rhett Walker Band’s “When Mercy Found Me” is nominated for Best Contemporary Christian Music Song. The band was also nominated for three 2013 Dove Awards, including for New Artist of the Year, Rock/Contemporary Song of the Year and Rock/Contemporary Album of the Year.

Other bands coming to the Revolution Music Festival on Oct. 2 at 7 p.m. at Palmerdale United Methodist Church include Rush of Fools and All Things New.
The annual event will be held each year on the Wednesday before the Alabama Butterbean Festival.
