The Hewitt-Trussville junior varsity football team on Monday is vying for an undefeated season.
The Huskies (7-0) host rival Clay-Chalkville at Jack Wood Stadium at 7 p.m.
Hewitt-Trussville sophomore quarterback Zach Thomas plays for the junior varsity and varsity teams.

The junior varsity Huskies have wins this season over Vestavia Hills, Huffman, Gadsden, Minor, Shades Valley, Mountain Brook and Gardendale.
Hewitt-Trussville beat Clay-Chalkville last season in a down-to-the-wire contest.
