CLAY — The red carpet is being rolled out for a new field.
Clay-Chalkville head football coach Jerry Hood said today that a ribbon cutting event will be held Tuesday, Aug. 5 at 3:30 p.m. to show off the new artificial turf at Cougar Stadium.
The field was nearing completion early Wednesday.
Hood said anyone and everyone is invited to the ribbon cutting.
“We hope the whole world will be here,” Hood quipped.
