TRUSSVILLE — Paine Intermediate School Resource Officer Chuck Bradford recently surprised special education teacher Auburn Lyle with a donation of $450.
The donation was given on behalf of the Hewitt-Trussville High School Class of 1984, which celebrated its 30-year reunion in August. Bradford is a member of the 1984 Hewitt-Trussville High School class.

Lyle said she plans to use the funds to buy a canopy tent to use when the class goes to the Special Olympics and other outdoor activities. She said she’ll also purchase a book binding machine to make adapted books for her students to read.
“The money has truly been a blessing,” Lyle said.
