TRUSSVILLE — On Saturday, Feb. 28, several Hewitt-Trussville High School Future Business Leaders of America members prepared lunches and compassion bags for the homeless at Linn Park in downtown Birmingham.
Walmart and GiGi’s cupcakes in Trussville donated to the cause as well as students involved with the project.
In total, 50 lunches and HTHS FBLA compassion bags were distributed. The compassion bags included hand sanitizer, Kleenex, crackers, granola bars and more.
The co-chairs for the project were Madi Knight, Meagan Zeitvogel and Sam Ledbetter.
