The Trussville Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a breakfast for area first responders on Thursday, May 7, at the Trussville Civic Center. Guest speaker was WVTM-TV Channel 13 anchor Mike Royer.

“The event was a way of saying ‘thank you’ to Trussville’s fire and police departments for all they do for the chamber and for the community,” said TACC Executive Director Diane Poole.
About 50 people attended this inaugural event where first responders received a goody bag and a certificate of appreciation. The event was sponsored by Trussville Gas & Water, Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home & Gardens, and Massey Stotser & Nichols PC.
