TRUSSVILLE –The Trussville City Schools Board of Education released its annual job performance evaluation for Dr. Pattie Neill, superintendent of the school system on Monday.
Dr. Neill is beginning her fourth year as superintendent of the school system. The review covers Neill’s job performance for the 2014-15 school year. The board gave the superintendent an overall composite evaluation score of 4.82 out of 5.0, which reflects an excellent performance.
The evaluation form covers 42 areas of criteria across 10 categories which are scored individually and independently by each board member. The individual results are then combined to determine the composite ranking for each area scored on a scale of 1-5 with 5 being excellent.

“As the evaluation results reflect, Dr. Neill continues to perform exceptionally well as superintendent of Trussville City Schools and continues to provide strong and positive leadership,” board president Bill Roberts said. “We are fortunate to have her as our superintendent and look forward to her continued success. Dr. Neill is doing a great job and she puts TCS in a wonderful position for future growth and success.”
Dr. Neill thanked the board of members for her evaluation.
“I appreciate the outstanding performance evaluation and I value our strong superintendent-board relationship,” Neill said. “I believe the ratings in each category are high because of outstanding board members and the great employees in this school system. All of us are working together to make improvements every step of the way. We respect each other, we love the students, we understand unified goals and we work hard every day to make deliberate strides for every student in this school system. Thank you for the opportunity to serve as your superintendent and to begin my fourth year of work in unison with everyone in Trussville City Schools.”
