From The Trussville Tribune Staff Reports
TRUSSVILLE – After being closed for the majority of the summer, the Trussville Clay Road bridge has reopened.
ALDOT projected the project would be finished before school started, and the bridge was officially reopened Friday.
Construction is not yet complete, but drivers can now use the bridge instead of the detour while construction workers complete the remainder of the work. Continue to use caution in the area while workers are present.

Am I crazy or what ! I thought they was tearing that bridge down and rebuilding it ,and putting on ramps onto the freeway . Just what was done beside regrading both sides of the road . I never saw any work on the bridge itself nor any work for on ramps ! I’m confused what did they just do exactly

Bama MC, you are not crazy. All they did was add dirt to both sides of the road before you cross the bridge. I have no idea why they had to close the road.
