BIRMINGHAM – Human remains were pulled from an abandoned Birmingham home on September 3.
Birmingham police have identified the victim as Joshua Morris, 29, who had been reported missing several weeks ago according to al.com.
Detectives were called to the 1100 block of 35th Street North on September 3 on a complaint from an unidentified person. Two days prior, that person said he had knowledge f a homicide that took place earlier in the week.
Human remains were found in the basement of the home, and the coroner’s office said on September 13 that the cause of death was strangulation.
