TRUSSVILLE – Trussville Health and Rehabilitation Center is open and accepting rehab patients and long-term residents.
ProHealth Group Inc., which owns Trussville Health and Rehabilitation center, assumed control over the facility after the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services ordered the previous operator, Golden Living-Trussville, to close the facility.
Trussville Health and Rehabilitation Center began the certification survey process in August and was found to be deficiency free, meaning all the services provided at the facility met or exceed all state and federal standards.
The facility’s grand opening, ribbon cutting and celebration is November 3 from 5-7 p.m. The public is invited to participate and take a tour of the building.
“Our focus is to be the premier rehab facility in Trussville and its surrounding areas,” Ron Davidson, Administrator of Trussville Health and Rehabilitation Center, said. “We are excited to partner with, and more importantly serve, the community.
Medicare and Medicaid patients are currently eligible to be patients at the facility, but they are currently in the process of working with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama, HealthSpring, Humana, United Healthcare and Viva. Patients covered by the listed plans are expected to be eligible in the near future.
Trussville Health and Rehabilitation is located at 119 Waterson Parkway
