TRUSSVILLE – The Trussville Rotary Daybreak Club has named two students of the month for December.
The Don Haisten Student of the Month (SOM) from Hewitt-Trussville High School is Grayson Byram. Byram has been involved in the National Honor Society,
the Leadership Team, Peer Partners and Trussville City Group (church youth group). He selected his world history teacher, Tim Stull, as his teacher of the month.
The Club’s second SOM is Nikoya Davis from Clay-Chalkville High School. Davis is involved in color guard, is a previous chief editor of the yearbook staff, is treasurer of Student Council and is a member of the National Honor Society. Davis selected Emily Burkett from Clay-Chalkville High School as her teacher of the month.
The Student of the Month program is sponsored by Jim ‘n Nick’s Bar-B-Q.
The Club meets at Spare Time Entertainment located at 3600 Roosevelt Blvd. in Trussville at 7 a.m. on Wednesday mornings.
