TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville Rotary Daybreak Club has named a student of the month for January from Hewitt-Trussville High School (HTHS). The Don Haisten Student of the Month is Anna Virginia Fagan. Anna Virginia is involved in varsity volleyball, varsity tennis, National Honor Society, Spanish Club, Spanish Honors Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Service Association, Key Club, Peer Partners, Heritage Panel, and Wellness Club, and is an HTHS ambassador. She is captain of the varsity volleyball and was a 2017 Principal’s Choice recipient.
Anna Virginia selected Sara Barriault, her pre-AP pre-calculus teacher, as the Teacher of the Month. Anna Virginia said, “Mrs. Barriault has always made herself available when I need any extra assistance. She also created a healthy, positive environment for me to learn the material she is teaching.”

The Club meets at Spare Time Entertainment located at 3600 Roosevelt Blvd. in Trussville at 7 a.m. on Wednesday mornings.
