McCalla — Investigators from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office are searching for two suspects that broke into a home and stole several items, including credit cards.
According to the sheriff’s office, the suspects are believed to have used the car taken from the 6900 block of Lou George Loop in McCalla. The victim told police that in addition to their credit cards, checks and a shotgun were stolen.
Detectives believe that one of the cards were used at a CVS, a Walgreen’s, and a McDonald’s in the Pelham and Alabaster areas. Surveillance footage was obtained at the Walgreens location that showed the suspects using one of the stolen cards.
