BIRMINGHAM — The victim of a multi-vehicle car wreck that occurred yesterday during rush hour in Birmingham has been identified, according to Carol Robinson.

Jessica Danne Zorns, 33, was identified as the victim. According to the report, Zorns was involved in an accident at the 8300 block of First Avenue in Birmingham at about 8 a.m. yesterday. She was traveling eastbound when she crashed into a car in front of her. This caused her car to spin and crash into a car in the westbound lane.
Birmingham Fire and Rescue responded to the scene and Zorns was taken to UAB Hospital where she was pronounced deceased. The wreck remains under investigation.
