TRUSSVILLE –The Carrington subdivision entrance may remained blocked on Wednesday for longer than expected. According to Lt. Phil Dillon of the Trussville Police Department, work could continue until as late as 7 p.m.
Norfolk Southern is working on the railroad tracks at the subdivision entrance and had originally planned to wrap up by 5 p.m. Motorists will need to use the rear entrance at Blackjack Road to access the neighborhood until the work is complete.
