BIRMINGHAM – The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency has reported that a one-vehicle crash occurring on I-459 SB at the I-20 junction has claimed a life of a passenger.
Monday morning, Nov. 12, at approximately 9:30 a.m., ALEA State Troopers responded to a one-vehicle accident where a driver lost control of the car in heavy rain and left the roadway striking the concrete base of a light pole.
The passenger of the vehicle was pronounced dead on the scene. The passenger has been identified as who has been reported as Mrs. Lula B Lindsey, 80-year-old female from Gadsden. The driver of the vehicle was taken to the hospital for serious injuries. The crash is currently still under investigation.
