HOOVER — A Monday night accident on the 1500 block of Montgomery Highway has left an unidentified female pedestrian dead, according to WIAT.
The pedestrian was attempting to cross from the westbound side of the highway and was struck by a 2005 Saturn VUE. The victim was transported to UAB hospital, but was pronounced deceased on arrival.
According to WIAT no charges are expected to be made against the driver of the VUE, but that authorities are continuing to investigate.
