TRUSSVILLE – The Trussville Area Chamber of Commerce has announced its December luncheon speaker. Ted Clem will be the featured speaker at the chamber’s monthly luncheon on Thursday, Dec. 20.
Clem is the director of the Office of Business Recruitment and Retention with the Alabama Department of Commerce. He is an experienced economic developer who has worked in three Southeastern states.
The Business Division markets Alabama to the world, pinpointing companies that may have expansion projects in the region over the next three to five years, and supports the expansion and retention of existing businesses. The division works closely with economic development allies throughout the state as part of a team-based recruitment effort.
The luncheon is sponsored by Cadence Bank and will be held at the Trussville Civic Center, located at 5381 Trussville-Clay Road in Trussville.
Reservations are $17 each and are needed by noon on Tuesday, Dec. 18. Network development time begins at 11:30 a.m., and lunch is served at noon, followed by Clem’s presentation at approximately 12:30 p.m. The chamber will also recognize its December Customer Service Award recipient.
