CHICAGO — Philadelphia quarterback Nick Foles made a 2-yard touchdown pass to Golden Tate on a fourth down with 56 seconds remaining to clinch the win over the Chicago Bears in the final wild-card game, according to the Intelligencer.
The Intelligencer reported that there hasn’t been a repeat Super Bowl champion since the Patriots in 2004. Also, there has not been a sixth seed to win the NFL title since the Packers in 2010. The Eagles are a sixth seed.
The Eagles will play the New Orleans Saints on Jan. 13.
