ALABASTER – A narcotics investigation led to the arrest of an 18-year-old at Thompson High School in Alabaster, according to WBRC.
WBRC reported that a school resource officer contacted the Shelby County Drug Enforcement Task Force, which led to the arrest of Kamau Diandi Greene.
Greene was discovered to be in possession of ecstasy pills, psilocybin mushroom powder, Xanax, a quarter pound of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, according to WBRC. WBRC also reported that Greene had three firearms on his person while on school grounds, one of the firearms was stolen.
Authorities have charged Greene with fourth-degree receiving stolen property, carrying a pistol without a license, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
WBRC reported that Greene was released from the Shelby County Jail. His bond had been set at $13,000.
