CENTER POINT – Springville varsity softball was unstoppable in Thursday’s game against Center Point, trouncing the Eagles 15-0.
Abbey Swaney took the win for the Tigers throwing a no hitter. Swaney went three innings and gave up zero hits and zero runs. She struck out seven and walked zero.
The Tigers racked up nine runs in the first inning with the contribution of Makalyn Kyser, Emily Robinson, Hannah King and Kyndall Gipson.
Kyser contributed two stolen bases to the Tigers’ efforts. In total, Springville had nine stolen bases for the game.
