HEFLIN — The Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office said a man reported missing has been found dead.
The body of Jas Cleveland Rollins, 79, was recovered on Friday, April 26, 2019. The sheriff’s office said Rollins left his home off County Road 159 in Heflin around 2 p.m. on April 24. They were concerned he may have been suffering from a condition that could have impaired his judgment.
The ALEA Aviation Unit, the Fusion Center, ALEA Marine Police Division, Randolph County Search and Rescue and Southeastern Search and Rescue assisted in the search.
