BIRMINGHAM — The Birmingham Police Department is investigating a triple shooting in the city’s southwest section.
The shooting happened on Sunday, June 16, 2019, around 12:05 a.m.
Officers were called to the scene at 2800 Thyer Circle, where they found multiple people shot. One person was pronounced dead on the scene and two others were taken to UAB Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The name of the victim has not been released. No suspects are in custody.
