BIRMINGHAM — The Pinson Valley indoor track and field team continued to shatter program records on Saturday during the 2019 Holiday Invitational at the Birmingham CrossPlex Athletic Facility.
The Indians broke nine program records in the event and placed 12 participants within the top 20 throughout both the girls and boys’ teams.
The girls were led by the sixth place finish of the 4×200-meter relay team. Lillian Sivers followed with a 12th place finish in the 3200-meter run; Makiyah Davis finished the high jump with an 18th place finish, and Mikaela Talton took home 18th in the long jump.
The boys were led by the eighth place finish of the 4×800 meter relay team. Seth Lord took home 10th place in the 3200-meter run, and he finished in 14th place in the 1600-meter run; the 4×200-meter relay team took home 20th place, and Bryan Freeman finished in 20th in the high jump.
