CLAY — A Clay man was allegedly beaten after he happened upon thee individuals breaking into a vehicle late Tuesday night.
According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies received a call at 11:46 p.m. from the 4400 block of Winchester Hills Drive, in Clay, on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2020, regarding an individual who claimed that he arrived home and witnessed three individuals break into a vehicle.
According to the victim, the men then attacked him and proceeded to flee the scene in a four-door vehicle. The victim went to the hospital with unspecified injuries. The make and model of the vehicle is also unknown.
No other details are known at this point, Deputy Chief David Agee of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said.
