TRUSSVILLE — The second of six Trussville Bicentennial Celebrations is planned for Saturday, Feb. 8, 2020.
The event will be held at the Trussville Civic Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A history fair will include relics from the city’s past, according to the Trussville Area Chamber of Commerce. Historians will be on hand and people will tell of their memories in Trussville.
ACTA Theatre will perform a short play based on Trussville’s past and present. The play will be performed at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. School choirs will also perform.
The city is celebrating 200 years every month through June.
January’s celebration was at Cahaba Elementary School.
Future events will be planned at different locations across the city. Details will be released at a later date.
