From The Trussville Tribune staff reports
TRUSSVILLE — Parents of students in the Trussville City School system are asked to make an appointment to pick up their child’s belongings on Monday, March 16, 2020.
Superintendent Dr. Pattie Neill said all principals will be at their schools Monday to take calls, emails and appointments.
“I would love for the parents to make an appointment to pick up their medication from the clinic, or their band instrument or any belongings they might need for the long-term closure,” said Neill.
Parents can call their individual school, or email to make an appointment. The contact information is listed below.
Neill said appointments are essential in order to keep a safe distance, as recommended by the Alabama Department of Public Health. All belongings must be picked up Monday.
The school system will be shut down from Tuesday, March 17 through Friday, April 3.
