Due to the state of emergency declared by Governor Ivey regarding COVID-19, the following procedures have been put in place by the City of Center Point, Alabama:
- The Center Point Senior Center will be closed beginning Tuesday, March 17, 2020. Efforts are being made to provide lunches on a drive-through basis and delivery of lunches for those who cannot get to the Center. Call 205-854-4472 for more information.
- The Center Point Community Center will be closed except for individual workouts. There will be no group activities or open gym. Call 205-545-8555 for more information.
- All youth activities such as baseball, softball & basketball are suspended until further notice.
- The grand opening for the Center Point Library has been postponed. The library will not be open until further notice.
- City hall offices will be closed to foot traffic immediately. Those who wish to get business license may call 205-854-4460, option 2. Those who wish to obtain permits or schedule inspections may call 205-854-4617, option 3.
- Traffic hearings set for March 16, 2020 are postponed until April 20, 2020. Please call 205-854-4460, option 1 for more information.
