TRUSSVILLE – One of the prominent recruiting sites in all of sports recently released its updated top 10 list of the best Alabama high school football players in the class of 2022 and two Hewitt-Trussville sophomores made the cut.
Sitting at No. 6 is four-star Huskies defensive/offensive lineman Riley Quick.
Quick, a 6-foot-5, 242-pound sophomore, is the younger brother of Alabama offensive lineman Pierce Quick. He has garnered interest from several top tier programs throughout the country despite just two seasons of high school football. As of March, Quick has offers from Georgia Tech, UAB, Jacksonville State and Tennessee Tech.
Quick is expected to receive numerous more offers as his time at Hewitt-Trussville continues on.
In addition to football, Quick is a pitcher on a Huskies team that is one of the top programs in the state.
