MONTGOMERY — Since testing for coronavirus began, the Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH) has been releasing information on the number of confirmed cases and deaths on its website.
Tuesday, the ADPH added a new feature to the COVID-19 Data and surveillance dashboard online. The new feature counts reported deaths. The feature is separate from the ‘died from illness’ section, which only counts deaths that are confirmed by the state, to have been caused by the virus.
The dashboard also lists numbers of cases of coronavirus confirmed in each county and the number of people tested in Alabama.
