MOODY — Moody’s Doris Stanley Memorial Library announced on Wednesday afternoon that it will be closed for the foreseeable future following the news that an employee is being tested for COVID-19.
The library, which was offering curbside service, announced the move as a preventative measure “for the safety and health for the employees of the library and for the library patrons.”
The library began offering curbside service on Monday, May 18, 2020. It’s still closed to the public, but staff will provide check in and out services for books. Patrons can pick up their items at the front entrance.
Once the library reopens, staff will be on site Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. You can reserve items for checkout by going to the library’s catalog or contact them at (205) 640-2517 with your requests.
