BIRMINGHAM — The Birmingham Police Department identified a man shot and killed Friday morning.
Demarcus Trelaine Beasley, 33, of Birmingham, was found suffering from a gunshot wound, in the 900 block of 47th Street North, at 7:20 a.m., on July 24, 2020. Beasley was pronounced dead on the scene.
A second person, who is believed to be involved in the incident, has been transported to UAB Hospital with “life-threatening” injuries.
Investigators believe both victims were involved in an altercation with a suspect prior to being shot. The suspect fled the scene in a small sedan.
