VESTAVIA HILLS — Police in Vestavia Hills said on Friday, September 25, detectives obtained warrants from the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office on Silvester Finney for first degree theft of property, third degree robbery and third degree burglary.
Finney was charged for an incident that occurred at a business on Thursday morning in the Cahaba Heights community in the 300 block of Summit Blvd.
An employee of the business was assaulted during the incident, according to al.com. The employee was transported to the hospital and treated and released.
Finney was apprehended shortly after the incident by day shift patrol officers, police said. He has been transported to the Jefferson County Jail.
