BESSEMER — Jefferson county Sheriff’s detectives are conducting an investigation after an apparent murder-suicide in Bessemer.
Deputies were dispatched to Rice Creek Lane on Friday at 12:45 p.m. Upon arrival, police discovered a man and woman shot to death.
According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, an elderly subject was also on location but was unharmed.
There is currently no motive for the shooting, as authorities continue to investigate.
