TRUSSVILLE — Zeta took a toll on much of south and central Alabama overnight, but the local area withstood the high winds and rain pretty well overnight.
One reported issue was a large tree blocking Oak Drive West. The tree was cleared by 6 a.m.
Alabama Power reported that there are 494,000 outages across the state. Crews have begun the process of restoring power, most of which are in the southern portion of the state.
