LEEDS — The Outlet Shops of Grand River shopping center closed on Saturday, April 17, 2021, after a mass power outage.
There were no media relations officials available to answer questions for the shopping center on Saturday, but someone at the center did confirm that staff was working to get everyone home safely.
The cause of the power outage is unknown but an official with The Outlet Shops of Grand River said the origin of the outage did not appear to happen on the center’s property.
It is unclear when the outlet mall will reopen.
