TRUSSVILLE — Trussville Fire and Rescue and Trussville Police responded to a three-vehicle crash on the evening of Sunday, April 25, 2021. The wreck occurred around 5:30 p.m.
At least one person had minor injuries, according to Fire Chief Tim Shotts. That person was taken to UAB Hospital for treatment, according to Police Chief Eric Rush.
“One of the drivers of a vehicle involved in the crash failed to yield the right-of-way,” Rush said.
Two lanes of Chalkville Mountain Road were closed while first responders cleared the crash. Service Road was also blocked after the crash.
