BIRMINGHAM — A Birmingham man has died after sustaining a gunshot wound injury on Friday night as he exited a convenience store.
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim as Rondarius Oji Bryant, who was pronounced dead shortly after 9:30 p.m. on Friday at UAB Hospital. He was 30.
According to a report from al.com, Birmingham Police Department officers responded to King’s Foods at 1528 Warrior Road at 7:15 p.m. on a report of a person shot. Bryant was discovered on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound and was transported to UAB Hospital.
This case is being investigated as a homicide and no arrests have been announced.
