BIRMINGHAM — The Norma Livingston Ovarian Cancer Foundation will host a butterfly release event at Vulcan Park and Museum on Sunday, Sept. 19, 2021.
The event will be held at the Vulcan Park and Museum’s overlook from 3:30 p.m. – 5 p.m.
There will be featured speakers, ovarian cancer treatment updates, live music, and the release of hundreds of painted lady and monarch butterflies.
“This event is going to bring to the table the reality of how vicious ovarian cancer can be and how victorious women can be at fighting it,” said Erica Thomas, who serves on the Board of Directors for the Norma Livingston Ovarian Cancer Foundation.
