MOUNTAIN BROOK — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly single-vehicle crash that happened on Old Leeds Road, in the Mountain Brook area.
Christopher Steven Proctor, 29, of Pell City, was pronounced dead on the scene in the 4100 block of Old Leeds Road.
The crash happened around 9:44 a.m. on Monday, June 26, 2021.
Jefferson County Coroner Bill Yates said Proctor was the only person in the Honda Civic he was driving. According to Yates, he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a tree.
