BIRMINGHAM — Jefferson County Coroner William Yates identified a Birmingham woman who died Tuesday, Aug. 3, as a result of a car crash in Tarrant one month prior.
Stephanie Ann McMath, 29, was involved in a one-vehicle accident when she crashed her Lexus IS 250 sedan into a building on Pinson Valley Parkway just before 4 a.m. on July 3. No explanation has been established for why her vehicle left the roadway. McMath was alone in the car.
McMath initially survived the accident and was moved to North Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation in Birmingham after her initial hospitalization. She was pronounced dead at 9:34 a.m. on Tuesday.
