PINSON — Zach Pyron announced on Sunday via a social media post that he has de-committed from Baylor University.
Pyron, who attended the Alabama vs. Miami game on Saturday in Atlanta, posted the following message on Twitter:
“This decision comes after a lot of time spent in prayer and discussions both with my family and people closest to me,” Pyron wrote. “I have made the decision to de-commit from Baylor University … The entire staff at Baylor University has been nothing short of amazing to us. I have nothing but the utmost respect for Baylor Football.
“My recruitment is open,” he continued. “I pray that you all will be understanding of this decision and the impact it has on me and my family.”

Pyron landed scholarship offers from Arkansas, Mississippi State, and Vanderbilt on Monday, September 6, the day after he de-committed.
