CHEROKEE COUNTY — A single-vehicle crash at approximately 1:49 p.m. Sunday, November 21, 2021 has claimed the life of a Panama City, Florida man, Alabama State Troopers reported.
Jefferey William Langford, 24, was fatally injured when the 1998 Dodge Ram he was driving left the roadway, struck a utility pole and overturned, Senior Trooper Reginal King stated in a press release.
Langford was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash occurred on U.S. 411 near the 248 mile marker, approximately four miles north of Centre, in Cherokee County.
No further information was released, as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
