BIRMINGHAM — The City of Birmingham plans to open the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex (BJCC) as a warming station on Sunday, January 16, and Monday, January 17.
According to the City of Birmingham, those needing warm shelter can come to the South Exhibition Hall at the BJCC located at 2100 Richard Arrington Jr. Blvd. from 5 p.m. to 8 a.m. on both days.
In collaboration with One Roof, those seeking shelter should also reach out to our ongoing partners: The Salvation Army, 2015 26th Ave. North; the Firehouse Shelter (for men), 626 Second Ave. North; and First Light (for women), 2230 Fourth Ave. North.
