BESSEMER — A 30-year-old prisoner at William Donaldson Correctional Facility has died on Tuesday, January 18.
According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, David Tremaine Jones, 30, of Mobile, was transported to UAB Hospital after being found unresponsive on the floor.
“The decedent was incarcerated at William Donaldson Correctional Facility, serving a life sentence from a 2016 conviction for murder out of Mobile County,” Deputy Coroner William Yates said.
Yates said that no evidence had been found of trauma or foul play, but the cause of death has yet to be determined.
