WALKER COUNTY — A two-vehicle crash claimed the life of a Parrish man on Wednesday, June 29, at approximately 9 a.m.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), Chad M. Moon, 45, was fatally injured when the 2005 Chevrolet Silverado he was driving collided head-on with a 2017 Freightliner dump truck driven by Bryan K. Clark, 62, of Dora.
Moon was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash occurred on Alabama 269 near the 23-mile marker, approximately eight miles south of Parrish, in Walker County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the ALEA Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
