Guy Hamilton Orr, 81, of Trussville, passed away.

He is survived by his beloved family: son, David (Sarah) of Dayton, Ohio, and their daughters, Emily (Josiah) Knowles of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Audrey Orr of Atlanta, Georgia; son, Brian (Tonya) and their daughters, Lauren and Amanda “Panda” Orr of Pelham, Alabama, and many dear friends.
He is predeceased by his loving wife, Frances Finch Orr, and parents, Guy Howard Orr and Thyrza Hamilton Orr.
He graduated from Phillips High School in 1959 and served as a Paramedic for the City of Birmingham for 27 years. He enjoyed an active and adventurous life shared with wonderful friends. He started scuba diving in 1959, was a pilot, and owned his own plane (Cessna 172) during the 1990s, enjoyed hunting, fishing, and boating on Lake Martin, and was a wonderful husband and father to his children and grandchildren. A private graveside service for the immediate family and friends was held at 10 a.m., on July 18, 2022, at Jefferson Memorial. Thanks to all his family and friends along the way, and please remember him with a smile.
