ST. CLAIR COUNTY — Beginning at 6 p.m., Sunday, July 24, weather permitting, the Alabama Department of Transportation will close Exit 156 exit and entrance ramps on I-59 southbound for Asphalt Paving Operations.
All ramps are expected to re-open at approximately 6 a.m. on Monday, July 25.
These same lane closures will be in place from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Sunday, July 24, through Tuesday, July 26.
Motorists are requested to consider using alternate routes, adjust arrival/departure times, observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs, and use extreme caution in this area. ALDOT thanks motorists for their patience during this Construction Operation to improve Alabama’s roadways.
