After a thorough investigation and pending the coroner’s final findings, it appears that the subjects were a part of a murder-suicide at the residence.
The 67-year-old Bernice Owens Hulgan had apparently been shot to death by her 68-year-old husband, Louis Grant Hulgan, who then took his own life.
“A family member had gone to the home after being unable to reach the subjects by phone and discovered the bodies,” Lieutenant Joni Money said.
The story will be updated when more information is available.
